You cannot audio dubbing in the following
cases:
•The tape recorded in the 16-bit mode
•The tape recorded in the LP mode
•Connecting with the DV Interface
•The blank portions of the tape
•The cassette set the write-protect tab to lock
To add new sound more precisely
Press ZERO SET MEMORY at the point where
you want to stop recording later during
playback.
Follow the step 2. Recording automatically stops
at the point where ZERO SET MEMORY was
pressed.
We recommend that you add new sound on
the tape recorded with your camcorder
If you add new sound on the tape recorded with
another camcorder (including other DCR-
TRV38E), the sound quality may become worse.
Monitoring the new recorded
sound
The POWER switch should be set to .
Operate by touching the panel.
(1) Play back the tape on which you added audio.
(2) Press FN to display PAGE1.
(3) Press MENU to display the menu.
(4) Select AUDIO MIX in
, then press EXEC
(p. 217).
(5) Press r/R to adjust the balance between the
original sound (ST1) and the new sound
(ST2), then press EXEC.
About five minutes after you disconnect the
power source or remove the battery pack, the
setting of AUDIO MIX returns to the original
sound (ST1) only. The default setting is
original sound only.

Doublage du son
Il n’est pas possible de doubler le son dans les
cas suivants :
•La bande est enregistrée en mode 16 bits.
•La bande est enregistrée en mode LP.
•La liaison est effectuée par l’interface DV.
•La bande comporte des passages vierges.
•La cassette est protégée (taquet verrouillé).
Pour ajouter une nouvelle bande son avec
plus de précision
Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur ZERO SET
MEMORY à l’endroit où vous voulez arrêter
ultérieurement l’enregistrement.
Effectuez l’étape 2. L’enregistrement s’arrête
automatiquement à l’endroit où vous avez
appuyé sur ZERO SET MEMORY.
Il est conseillé d’ajouter une bande son à une
cassette enregistrée avec ce caméscope
Si vous voulez ajouter une bande son à une
cassette enregistrée sur un autre caméscope
(DCR-TRV38E compris), le son risque d’être de
moindre qualité.
Contrôle de la nouvelle bande
son
Le commutateur POWER doit être en position
.
Utilisez les touches de l’écran tactile.
(1) Reproduisez la cassette contenant la nouvelle
bande son.
(2) Appuyez sur FN pour afficher la PAGE1.
(3) Appuyez sur MENU pour afficher le menu.
(4) Sélectionnez AUDIO MIX dans
, puis
appuyez sur EXEC (p. 227).
(5) Appuyez sur r/R pour ajuster la balance entre
le son original (ST1) et le son ajouté (ST2),
puis appuyez sur EXEC.
Le réglage original de la bande son (ST1) de
AUDIO MIX est rétabli cinq minutes environ
après le débranchement de la source
d’alimentation ou le retrait de la batterie. Le
réglage par défaut est la bande son originale
seulement.
