3.1.4.4 - «VIDEO OUT» frame
1. «MONITOR» receptacle
Connection of monitor.
Video output (Level: 1 Vpp/75 Ω).
The available videos are:
• ENC: Encoded video from camera
• VF: The video displayed in the viewfinder
Y, ENC, RET1, RET2 (If «PROMPTER»
option installed).
The «ENC» and «Y» video on this connector
are obtained from the 8-bit digital-to-analog
converter and are provided for use as moni-
toring video. These videos are not intended
to perform performance tests.
For video selection, refer to the OPERA-
TION part of this chapter.
The presence of the «RET1 and RET2»
videos depends on the length of the triaxial
cable. Refer to the SPECIFICATIONS chap-
ter.
2 «RET. 1» receptacle
Connection of monitor.
External video No. 1 output applied to the
back of the Channel Control Unit to the
«VIDEO RET 1» receptacle.
Output level: 1 Vpp typical/75
Ω.
The presence of the «RET1» video depends
on the length of the triaxial cable. Refer to
the SPECIFICATIONS chapter.
3 «PROMPTER/RET.2» receptacle
Connection of monitor
External video No. 2 output applied to the
back of the Channel Control Unit to the
«PROMPTER VIDEO RET 2» receptacle.
Output Level: 1 V peak-to-peak typical/75
Ω.
This video is present only if the camera is
fitted with the «PROMPTER» option.
The presence of the «PROMPTER/RET2»
video depends on the length of the triaxial
cable. Refer to the SPECIFICATION chap-
ter.
