6.1.2 - Fitting the camera with a heavy lens
The camera is to be fitted in the chassis after fitting the lens.
1. Tilt back the mobile assembly after having loosened the lockscrews on the ends of
the two bars.
2. Remove the 1.5 inch viewfinder from the camera and its retaining pillar.
• to do this, loosen the ring in the camera body, rotating the pillar, and pull the pillar
towards the front of the camera,
• close the hole by means of the ferrule delivred with the equipement.
3. Place the camera in the frame with the rear bottom part of the latter resting on the
flexible mounting and with the lens ring in contact with the camera ring.
4. Moving the rear of the camera slightly, tighten the camera ring.
5. Place the mobile assembly in the down position and tighten the two top attaching
screws.
