4.1.2 - Controls and indications
1. MIC "ENG/REMOTE/PROD" 3-position selector switch
Using this switch, the Cameraman selects the party to whom he wishes to speak:
• ENG: Technical control room,
• REMOTE: Pressing of switch "VTR" on the lens selects the producer (PROD),
• PROD: Producer.
NOTE : When strap E13 on the "INTERCOM" board or the Channel Control Unit is
set to ENG+PROD, the ENG or PROD selection enables the Cameraman to
speak simultaneously to the engineer (Control room) or to the Producer (see
INSTALLATION).
2. "PROD" potentiometer
The Cameraman receives orders from the Producer on both earphones. The volume can
be adjusted using the "PROD" potentiometer.
3. "ENG" potentiometer
The Cameraman, in addition to Producer orders (PROD), receives the ENG+PROG
sound mix in the righthand earphone, the general level of which is adjusted by this
potentiometer.
4. "PRG MIX" potentiometer
The individual setting of the PROG Sound volume is provided by this potentiometer.
NOTE : The "Cameraman <-> Technical control room intercom has a standby power
supply when the camera head operation is interrupted. Only the Channel
Control.
