2.9 - "WITH OR WITHOUT CHARACTER ON MONITORING VI-
DEO PM" SELECTION
NOTE : Two "VIDEO" PCBs versions equip the 1685 or 1686 CCUs.
The version 1 is fitted with the "PIP" (picture in picture) function. This function is used
with the studio camera. It is identifiable by the quartz crystal presence on the components
side.
Various displays inform the operator of the setting values and conditions of the Channel
Control Unit or camera, which can be inlaid on the PM video (see chapter 5, "Use").
The presence of these depends on selector switch S1 (CHR: ON/OFF) on the VIDEO
board.
Set the selector switch to the appropriate position.
