Mise au point manuelle en cours
d’enregistrement
Le caméscope HD peut effectuer une mise au point
automatique sur un sujet depuis un gros plan jusqu’à l’infi ni.
Cependant, il peut s’avérer impossible d’obtenir la mise au
point adéquate en fonction des conditions d’enregistrement.
Dans ce cas, utilisez le mode de mise au point manuelle.
1. Touchez “Focus”  “Manual”.
• Le témoin de réglage de la mise au point apparaît.
2. Touchez l’onglet sujet rapproché ( ) ou sujet
éloigné ( ) pour faire la mise au point tout en
regardant le sujet à l’écran ACL.
Mise au point sur un sujet éloigné
Pour mettre au point un sujet éloigné, touchez l’onglet
sujet éloigné ( ).
Mise au point sur un sujet rapproché
Pour mettre au point un sujet rapproché, touchez l’onglet
sujet rapproché ( ).
Dans les situations suivantes, il est parfois possible d’obtenir de
meilleurs résultats en effectuant une mise au point manuelle :
• Une image comportant plusieurs objets, certains proches du caméscope HD,
d’autres plus éloignés.
• Un sujet enveloppé par le brouillard ou se détachant sur un fond enneigé.
• Des surfaces brillantes ou luisantes comme une carrosserie de voiture.
• Une personne ou un objet se déplaçant de manière constante et rapide, tel un
sportif ou une foule.
• La fonction “ Focus” bascule entre la mise au point manuelle et automatique.
Aucune indication n’apparaît à l’écran en mode de mise au point automatique.
• Assurez-vous de bien zoomer sur votre sujet avant d’effectuer la mise au point
manuelle. Si vous effectuez la mise au point d’un sujet en utilisant le contrôle
vers le “ W”, la mise au point sera faussée lorsque vous tournerez le levier vers
le “ T” pour zoumer sur le sujet.
• Si vous n’êtes pas familiarisé avec les caméscopes HD, nous vous conseillons
d’utiliser la mise au point automatique.
• Cette fonction est réglée sur “ Auto” en mode EASY Q.
• L’icône rapprochée ou éloigné ( / ) apparaît au centre suite à la mise
au point.
• La valeur ajustée s’applique immédiatement après avoir touché l’onglet
( ou ).

Focusing manually during recording
This HD camcorder automatically focuses a subject from
close-up to infi nity.
However, the correct focus may not be obtained depending
on the recording condition. In this case, use the manual
focus mode.
1. Touch “Focus”  “Manual.”
• The manual focus adjustment indicator appears.
2. Touch nearer subject ( ) or further subject
( ) tab to adjust the focus, while viewing the subject
on the LCD screen.

To focus on a further subject, touch further subject
( ) tab.
Focusing in a nearer subject
To focus on a nearer subject, touch nearer subject
( ) tab.
In the following situations, you may obtain better results by
adjusting the focus manually.
• A picture containing several objects, some close to the HD camcorder, others
further away.
• A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by snow.
• Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.
• People or objects moving constantly or quickly like an athlete or a crowd.
• “ Focus” function will alternate between manual focus and auto focus. With
auto focus, no indication will appear on the screen.
• Be sure to zoom in on your subject before manually focusing on it. If you bring
the subject into focus at the “ W” control side, focus will be faulty when you turn
the zoom lever to the “ T” control side to zoom in on the subject.
• If you are inexperienced in the use of HD camcorders, we recommend that you
use auto focus.
• This function will be set to “ Auto” in the EASY Q mode.
• The nearer or further icon ( / ) appears in the center when focus
adjustment reaches the end.
• The adjusted value is applied right after touching ( or ) tab.
