Setting the date and time
Set the date and time when using this HD
camcorder for the fi rst time.
1. Touch Menu ( ) tab.
2. Touch Settings ( ) tab.
3. Touch up ( )/down ( ) tab until “Date/Time Set”
is displayed.
4. Touch “Date/Time Set.”
5. Touch the up ( )/down ( ) tab to set current
month, then touch day fi eld.
6. Set values for day, year, hour, minute, and AM/PM as in
setting the month.
7. Touch OK (
OK
) tab when the date and time setting is
completed.
• The message “ Date/Time Changed” appears, the
set date/time is applied.
8. To exit, Return ( ) tab repeatedly until menu
disappears.
• On charging the built-in rechargeable battery
Your camcorder has a built-in rechargeable
battery to retain the date, time, and other
settings even when the power is off. The built-
in rechargeable battery is always charged while
your camcorder is connected to the wall outlet
via the AC power adaptor or while the battery
pack is attached. The rechargeable battery will
be fully discharged in about 6 months if you
do not use your camcorder at all. Use your
camcorder after charging the pre-installed
rechargeable battery. If the built-in rechargeable
battery is not charged, any input data will not
be backed up and the date/time appears on
the screen as “ 01/JAN/2007 12:00 AM” (when
“ Date/Time” display to On).
• You can set the year up to 2037.

To switch the date and time display on or off, access the menu and change the
date/time display mode. page 66

Réglez l’horodatage lorsque vous utilisez le
caméscope HD pour la première fois.
1. Touchez l’onglet Menu ( ).
2. Touchez l’onglet Réglages ( ).
3. Touchez l’onglet haut ( )/bas ( ) jusqu’à ce que
“Date/Time Set” s’affi che.
4. Touchez “Date/Time Set”.
5. Touchez l’onglet Haut ( ) ou Bas ( ) pour régler
le mois courant, puis touchez le champ du jour.
6. Réglez le jour, l’année, l’heure, les minutes et AM/PM
de la même façon que le mois.
7. Touchez l’onglet OK (

) pour enregistrer la date et l’
heure.
• Le message “ Date/Time Changed” apparaît et l’
horodatage s’applique.
8. Pour quittez, touchez l’onglet Retour ( ) plusieurs
fois jusqu’à ce que le menu disparaisse.
• Mise sous charge de la pile rechargeable
intégréeVotre caméscope HD possède une
pile rechargeable intégrée qui conserve l’
horodatage et certains autres réglages pendant
qu’il est éteint. Cette pile rechargeable intégrée
est mise sous charge lorsque le caméscope
HD est branché sur une prise murale à l’aide
de l’adaptateur CA ou lorsque le bloc-piles est
installé. La pile se décharge complètement
au bout de 6 mois si vous n’utilisez pas le
caméscope HD. Utilisez votre caméscope
après avoir chargé la pile préinstallée. Si la pile
rechargeable intégrée n’est pas chargée, les
données d’entrée ne seront pas sauvegardées
et l’horodatage s’affi che à
l’écran sous la forme “ 01/JAN/2007 12:00 AM”
(lorsque l’affi chage “ Date/Time” est réglé sur On).
• Vous pouvez régler l’horloge jusqu’à l’an 2037.
Activation/désactivation de l’horodatage
Pour activer ou désactiver l’horodatage, accédez au menu et modifi ez le mode
