5.1 - DESCRIPTION OF OPERATING DISPLAYS
These displays are inlaid in the "PIX" monitoring video on the back of the CCU.
5.1.1 - Display on power-on
This screen momentarily indicates the CCU environment and appears when the equip-
ment is switched on. The alarm messages written during the startup phase (see 5.1.3 -
Alarm displays paragraph) do not indicate that the equipment is defective.
This screen is then replaced by the status or operating display, depending on the selec-
tion made on switching off the equipment.
• X.X: Indicates the software version contained in the APCM board PROM in the
Channel Control Unit.
• 1685/86: Indicates that the APCM board has recognized the EFP configuration.
• 2: CCU number indication (corresponds to the number on the thumbwheel on the
front of the APCM board).
• XXXX CABLE: SHORT CABLE: Indicates that the cable length between the CCU
and the camera is less than 300 m (for a type B cable). If not, the display reads:
LONG CABLE.
• NO VIDEO GEN LOCK: Indicates that the equipment is not controlled by an
external source.
