4.2 - LEFTHAND SIDE
4.2.1 - Controls and indications
1. "CALL" pushbutton, to draw control panel operator’(s) attention
When this button is pressed, the "CALL" indications on the OCP and Channel Control
Unit lights.
NOTE : The "CALL" signal is also available on receptacle ON AIR on the back of the
Channel Control Unit (see Channel Control Unit chapter).
2. "Ambience" microphone power supply selector switch connected to the CA
(see INSTALLATION chapter)
3. External video selector switch
Used to select one external video out of 4 which can be connected to the back panel of
the Channel Control Unit (RET1, RET2, RET3, RET4). The selected external video
number is displayed in the camera viewfinder.
4. Visor video selection selector switch
• MIX: The "MIX" video results from addition of the external video selected by the
"EXT SELECT" switch, with the "MIX IN" video applied to the back of the Channel
Control Unit.
NOTE : In general, input "MIX IN" is connected to output "MIX OUT" (camera Y);
the MIX video is therefore an addition of the external video selected with the
camera Y video.
• CAM: The viewfinder video is the camera video.
• EXT: the viewfinder video is the external video selected by the "EXT SELECT"
switch.
