Lefthand side controls
The ambient microphone sensitivity is remote controlled by a DC voltage applied to the
back of the channel control unit, to the "MIC. REM SENS. IN" connector (attenuation of 0
dB for 0 Volt to - 46.5 dB for 5 Volts). This remote control is active if the selector switches
on the front of the "STEREO SOUND" board in the CA are set to "REM" (Remote). If not
(selector switches set to "MAN"), the gain of each microphone can be adjusted by the
potentiometer associated with each selector switch. To obtain access to the "STEREO
SOUND" board, remove the lefthand panel of the CA by unscrewing its 4 attaching
screws.
STEREO SOUND board
The "MICRO AMBIENCE" sound output levels can be adjusted on the channel control
unit STEREO INTERCOM BOARD between - 6 dB and + 12 dB in steps of 6 dB. Fine
