2.3.3 - RTS device
The equipment features an RTS system enabling the Cameraman to communicate with
other users over the 2 RTS links.
To render this device operational, switches S05, S06 and S07 on the Channel Control Unit
"STEREO INTERCOM" board must be set to the RTS position to connect to the RTS1
line, and switches S11, S12, S13 and S15 must be similarly set to connect to the RTS2 line.
NOTES :
1. When link RTS1 (RTS2) is used, the "ENG" ("PROD") intercom link is not
available.
2. Adjusting components R01, R09 and E01 to E06 are common to the RTS links and
to the ENG and PRO intercoms.
2.3.3.1 - Cameraman to RTS1 and RTS2 links
To speak to the RTS1 line users, the Cameraman sets the "PROD/ENG" switch to PROD.
To speak to the RTS2 line users, he sets this switch to ENG.
NOTA : If strap E13 on the "STEREO INTERCOM" board of the Channel Control
Unit is set to ENG+PROD, selection of ENG or PROD enables the Came-
raman to speak over both lines simultaneously.
