2.7 - CHANNEL CONTROL UNIT NUMBERING (USE WITH A
MCP)
When the Channel Control Unit is controlled by an MCP, it must be assigned its own
address.
This adress define the camera number on the MSP.
It is absolutely necessary to provide a different address for Channel Control Units
connected to a given MCP.
2.7.1 - APCM board version 0
This address is allocated using thumbwheel RC140 on the front of the APCM board
and switchs S250/5 and S250/6 on the APCM board.
The switch S250/7 must be ON (MCP presence).
APCM version 0 PCB
Numbering:
• the thumbwheel permit the CCUS numbering of 1 to15 (1 to 9 position = 1 to 9 camera
and A to F position = 10 to 15 camera, the 0 position is forbidden),
• the S250/5 switch in ON position and the S250/6 switch in OFF position add 10 to the
thumbwheel value,
• the S250/6 switch in ON position and the S250/5 switch in OFF position add 20 to the
thumbwheel value.
