2.5 - EQUIPMENT PHASE ALIGNMENT
2.5.1 - Horizontal and sub-carrier phase alignment
Switches S04, S05, S06 and S07 on the Channel Control Unit encoder board must be set to
INT.
2.5.1.1 - Horizontal phase alignment
Adjust multi-turn potentiometer "ØH" on the Channel Control Unit "SYNC. GEN -
ENCODER" board front panel so that the equipment is in phase with the other video
sources at the mixer input.
2.5.1.2 - Sub-carrier phase alignment
Adjust multi-turn potentiometer "ØSC" on the Channel Control Unit "PAL (NTSC)
SYNC.GEN.-ENCODER" board so that the equipment sub-carrier is in phase with the
other videos at the Mixer input.
2.5.2 - Digital video phase
Adjust RC3 "FINE DELAY" (8 x 37 ns) or RC4 "COARSE DELAY" (8 x 296 ns) on the
Channel Control Unit "ENC. 4.2.2" board for adjust the digital video phase.
