Indication of short connection ca-
ble between the camera head and
the channel control unit.
With a long cable (>300m typeB),
the TelePrompter video is no lon-
ger available on the camera head.
No signal obtained from channel V
indication.
This may be due to:
•
power off: the camera head,
•
disconnection of the camera
head
↔ channel control unit in-
terconnection cable.
Test Point for sync signal extracted
from V video (V p/p = 9 V Zout =
300 0hms).
Test Point for outside video signal
applied to the back of the channel
control unit (Zout = 75 Ohms).
R, G, B video signal Test Points,
non-synchronized demodulated
(V p/p = 0.7 V/75 Ohms).
Ground test point
The indicator light indicates a call
from the Cameraman.
The CALL pushbutton enables the
channel control operator to draw
the Cameraman’s attention.
When this switch is on:
•
CAM: the Channel Control Unit
Operator is connected to the
Cameraman,
•
OFF: this is the normal opera-
ting position. The Channel
Control Unit Operator is isola-
ted from the Cameraman, the
Producer and the Technical
Control Room,
•
ENG-CAM: the Channel Con-
trol Unit Operator is connected
to the Technical Control Room
and the Cameraman.
Channel control unit operator
headset audio level adjustment.
•
Righthand earphone: "Pro-
gram" Sound (PRG) + "Techni-
cal control room" sound (ENG).
•
Lefthand earphone: "Camera-
man" sound (CAM) + "Produ-
cer" (PROD) sound.
Connection of a microphone-
headset for the channel control
operator. The headset may be dy-
namic or static (see Chapter 2 -
"Installation").
