PROTECTION FROM ACCIDENTAL ERASURE
• This function works only in the Play mode. page 21
• You can protect important images from accidental
erasure.
• If you execute formatting, all fi les including
protected fi les will be erased.
1. Slide the POWER switch downwards to turn on the
power.
• Set the Storage mode switch to CARD.

2. Press the MODE button to set the Play mode.
• The thumbnail index view appears.
• To see the thumbnail index view of photo
images, use the Joystick to select the photo
( ) tab.
3. Use the Joystick to select the image to protect,
press the MENU button.
4. Move the Joystick right or left to select “Protect.”
5. Move the Joystick up or down to select the desired
option (“ Off” or “On”), then press the Joystick.
• After completion, the selected images will be
protected.
• The ( ) indicator appears on the selected
image.
• This function operates identically in the full image display
mode (single image displayed on the screen). (Photo
images only)
• Protected images will show the ( ) indicator when they are
displayed.
• If the write-protection tab on the memory card is set to lock,
you cannot set image protection. page 53

compris les images protégées, sont effacées.
1. Faites coulisser le bouton POWER vers le bas pour
allumer l’appareil.
• Réglez le bouton Storage mode sur CARD.

2. Appuyez sur la touche MODE pour défi nir l’option
de lecture.
• L’index des vignettes apparaît.
• Pour revenir à l’index des vignettes photo,
utilisez le manche à balai pour sélectionner l’
onglet Photo ( ).
3. Déplacez le manche à balair pour sélectionner
l’image à protéger, puis appuyez sur la touche
MENU.
4. Déplacez le manche à balai sur la droite ou sur la
gauche pour sélectionner « Protect » (Protéger).
5. Déplacez le manche à balai vers le haut ou vers
le bas pour sélectionner l’option souhaitée (« Off »
(Désactivé) ou « On » (Activé)), puis appuyez sur
le manche à balai.
• L’image est protégée à la fi n de l’opération.
• Le témoin ( ) s’affi che sur l’image
sélectionnée.
• Cette fonction est semblable en mode d’affi chage de l’
image complète (une image unique affi chée à l’écran).

• A l’affi chage, les images protégées apparaîtront avec l’
indicateur ( ).
• Si le volet de protection en écriture de la carte mémoire est
verrouillé, il est impossible d’activer la protection de l’image.
