✪ Si vous éprouvez des problèmes d’utilisation de votre caméscope,
vérifiez ce qui suit avant de le faire réparer.

Symptômes et solutions
Alimentation
Symptôme Explication/solution
Il s’éteint automatiquement.
• Est-ce que la fonction « Auto Power Off » (Arrêt auto)
est réglée sur « 6Min » (6 min.) ? Si aucune touche n’est
activée pendant 6 minutes en mode VEILLE, le caméscope
DVD s’éteint automatiquement. Pour désactiver cette
option, réglez « Auto Power Off » (Arrêt auto) sur
« Off » (Désactivé). Page 80
• Le bloc-piles est presque épuisé. Chargez le bloc-
piles ou remplacez-le. Branchez l’adaptateur CA.
Impossible d’éteindre l’
appareil.
• Retirez immédiatement le bloc-piles ou débranchez l’
adaptateur CA. Rebranchez ensuite la source d’
alimentation sur le caméscope avant de l’allumer.
Le bloc-piles s’épuise
rapidement.
• La température ambiante est trop basse.
• Le bloc-piles n’est pas complètement chargé. Rechargez-le.
• Le bloc-piles a atteint la fin de sa durée de vie et ne peut
plus être chargé. Remplacez-le.
Écrans
Symptôme Explication/solution
L’afficheur ACL est éteint.
• Gardez-le loin des objets magnétiques. Si vous approchez
tout matériel magnétique près du côté gauche du
caméscope DVD, l’écran ACL peut s’éteindre ; il ne s’agit
pas d’une défaillance.
L’image dans le viseur est
floue.
• L’objectif du viseur n’a pas été réglé.
• Ajustez la molette de commande du viseur jusqu’à ce que
les voyants affichés sur le viseur parviennent à une mise
au point nette.
L’écran ACL ou celui du
téléviseur affiche des images
déformées ou comporte des
barres en haut, en bas, à
gauche ou à droite.
• Cela se produit lorsque vous enregistrez ou lisez une vidéo
au format 16:9 sur un téléviseur au format 4:3 ou l’inverse.
Reportez-vous aux caractéristiques de l’écran pour plus de
détails.
Un témoin inconnu s’affiche à l’
écran ACL.
• Un témoin d’avertissement ou un message apparaît
à l’écran.Pages 103-104
Une image rémanente persiste
sur l’écran ACL.
• Cela se produit lorsque vous débranchez l’adaptateur CA ou
retirez le bloc-piles sans avoir éteint l’appareil au préalable.
L’écran LCD est noir, seuls les
témoins sont affichés.
• Vérifiez le cache-objectif. Ouvrez le cache-objectif si celui-
ci est fermé.

Power
Symptom Explanation/Solution
The power turns off
automatically.
• Is “ Auto Power Off” set to “6Min”? If no button is pressed
for about 6 minutes in STBY mode, the DVD camcorder is
automatically turned off. To disable this option, Set “ Auto
Power Off” to “Off.” page 80
• The battery pack is almost exhausted. Charge the battery pack
or replace it with a charged one. Use the AC power adaptor.
Power cannot be turned off.
• Remove the battery pack or unplug AC power adaptor, and
connect the power supply to the camcorder again before
turning it on.
The battery pack is quickly
discharged.
• The ambient temperature is too low.
• The battery pack is not fully charged. Charge the battery
pack again.
• The battery pack reached its lifespan and cannot be
recharged. Use another battery pack.
Displays
Symptom Explanation/Solution
The LCD is turned off.
• Keep away from magnetic materials. When magnetic
material is near the left side of the DVD camcorder, the
LCD may be turned off but it is not a malfunction.
The image in the Viewfinder is
blurred.
• The Viewfinder lens has not been adjusted.
• Adjust the Viewfinder control lever until the indicators
displayed on the Viewfinder come into sharp focus.
The screen of TV or LCD
displays distorted images or
has stripes at the top/ bottom
or utmost left/right
• It can occur when recording or viewing a 16:9-ratio image
on a 4:3-ratio TV, or vice versa. For more details, see the
display specification.
Unknown indicator appears on
the LCD screen.
• A warning indicator or message appears on the screen.

An afterimage remains on the
LCD screen.
• This occurs if you disconnect the AC power adaptor or
remove the battery pack before turning the power off
The screen is black with
indicators appeared only.
• Check the lens cover. Open the lens cover if closed.
