TAKING PHOTO IMAGES
• You should set the Storage mode switch to CARD
before recording on a memory card.
• You can take photo images using the remote control.

1. Slide the POWER switch downwards to turn the DVD
camcorder on.
• Set the Storage mode switch to CARD. page 30
2. Check the subject on the LCD screen. (Lens and LCD)
• Set the Lens open/close switch to open ( ).

3. Press the PHOTO button to take the picture.
• A shutter sound is heard. The photo image is
recorded with the “ Photo capture” message
appeared.
• While saving the photo image on the memory card,
you cannot proceed with the next recording.
• You can use the zoom function while recording.

• The number of photo images that can be stored
depends on the quality and size of the image.

• The photo image is taken only in the 4:3 aspect ratio
on the memory card.
• Audio will not be recorded with the photo image on
the memory card.
• Please check the protection tab setting on your
memory card before recording.
You may not be able to record when it is locked.
• If focusing is diffi cult, use the manual focus function.

• Do not operate the POWER switch or remove the
memory card while accessing the storage media. It
may damage the storage media or data.
• Photo images are actually wider than what appears
on the LCD screen.
• The recorded photo image size is 800X600.

PRISE DE PHOTOS
• Vous devez régler le bouton Storage mode sur CARD
avant d’enregistrer sur une carte mémoire.
• Vous pouvez prendre des photos à l’aide de la

1. Faites coulisser le bouton POWER vers le bas pour
allumer le caméscope DVD.
• Réglez le bouton Storage mode sur CARD.

2. Faitez la mise au point du sujet sur l’écran ACL. (Objectif
et ACL)
• Déplacez le bouton Objectif ouvert/fermé sur
ouvert ( ). Page 10
3. Appuyez sur la touche PHOTO pour prendre la photo.
• Vous entendrez le bruit d’obturateur. La photo est
enregistrée sur la carte mémoire lorsque le message
« Photo capture » (Capture Photo) apparaît
• Vous ne pouvez pas prendre d’autre photo
pendant l’enregistrement sur le support de
stockage.
• Vous pouvez utiliser le zoom pendant un
enregistrement. Page 37
• Le nombre de photos pouvant être stocké dépend de
la qualité et de la taille des images. Page 55
• Les photos sont enregistrées sur la carte mémoire
uniquement au format 4:3.
• Le son n’est pas enregistré sur le support de
stockage avec la photo.
• Veuillez vérifi er le réglage du volet de protection
de la carte mémoire avant d’enregistrer.
Il pourraît être impossible d’enregistrer s’il est
verrouillé.
• S’il est diffi cile d’effectuer la mise au point
automatique, utilisez la fonction de mise au point
manuelle.Page 70
• N’utilisez pas le bouton POWER ou ne retirez pas la
carte mémoire pendant que vous tentez d’accéder au
support de stockage. Sous peine d’endommager le
support de stockage ou d’en altérer les données.
• Les photos réelles sont plus larges qu’elles n’
apparaissent à l’écran ACL.
• La taille de l’image photo enregistrée est de 800 X
600.
