ENTRETIEN
Votre caméscope DVD est un appareil de conception et de fabrication supérieure. Prenez-
en grand soin. Les conseils ci-après vous aideront à comprendre et à observer vos
engagements envers la garantie et vous permettront de profiter du produit pendant plusieurs
années.
• Éteignez le caméscope DVD avant de le ranger.
- Retirez le bloc-piles et l’adaptateur CA. Pages 16 et 18
- Retirez la carte mémoire et le disque DVD. Pages 32 et 52
Précautions de rangement
• Évitez de ranger le caméscope DVD dans un endroit où la température demeure
élevée pendant de longues périodes :
La température à l’intérieur ou dans le coffre d’un véhicule peut devenir très élevée
en saison chaude. Si vous rangez le caméscope DVD dans un tel endroit, il peut mal
fonctionner ou cela risque d’endommager le boîtier. N’exposez pas le caméscope DVD
à la lumière directe du soleil et ne le placez pas près d’un appareil de chauffage.
• Évitez de ranger le caméscope DVD dans un endroit où le niveau d’humidité est
élevé ou dans un endroit poussiéreux :
La poussière pénétrant le caméscope DVD peut provoquer des défaillances. Un taux
élevé d’humidité peut encourager la formation de moisissure sur l’objectif, rendant
le caméscope DVD inopérant. Nous vous conseillons de mettre le caméscope DVD
dans une boîte et d’y déposer un petit sachet de dessiccatif avant de le ranger dans un
placard, etc.
• Évitez de ranger le caméscope DVD dans un endroit sujet à de fortes ondes
magnétiques ou aux vibrations intenses :
cela peut provoquer une défaillance technique.
• Retirez le bloc-piles du caméscope DVD et rangez-le dans un endroit frais et
sec :
le laisser sur le caméscope ou le ranger dans un endroit trop chaud peut en écourter la
durée.
Nettoyage du caméscope DVD
• Avant de commencer le nettoyage, éteignez le caméscope DVD et retirez le bloc-
piles et l’adaptateur CA.
Pour en nettoyer l’extérieur
frottez-le doucement avec un chiffon doux et sec. N’appuyez pas trop fort lors du
nettoyage ; frottez doucement la surface.
- N’utilisez jamais de benzène ou de solvant pour nettoyer le caméscope. La
surface du boîtier peut peler ou se dégrader.
Pour nettoyer l’écran ACL,
frottez-le doucement avec un chiffon doux et sec. Prenez garde à ne pas endommager
l’écran.
En ce qui concerne le nettoyage de l’objectif,
utilisez un souffleur d’air (disponible en option) pour éliminer la saleté et autres petits
dépôts. Évitez d’essuyer l’objectif avec un chiffon ou avec vos doigts. Si nécessaire,
utilisez un papier spécial pour le nettoyer.
- Un objectif sale encourage la formation de moisissure.
- Si l’objectif semble sombre, éteignez le caméscope DVD et attendez environ une
heure.

Your DVD camcorder is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be treated
with care. The suggestions below will help you fulfil any guarantee obligations and allow you to
enjoy this product for many years.
• For safekeeping of the DVD camcorder, turn off the DVD camcorder.
- Remove the battery pack and AC power adaptor. pages 16, 18
- Remove the memory card and DVD disc. pages 32, 52
Cautions when storing
• Do not leave the DVD camcorder in a place where the temperature is very high for a
long period of time:
The temperature inside a closed vehicle or trunk can become very high in a hot season.
If you leave the DVD camcorder in such a place, it could malfunction or the case could be
damaged. Do not expose the DVD camcorder to direct sunlight or place it near a heater.
• Do not store the DVD camcorder in a place where the humidity is high or in a dusty
place:
Dust entering the DVD camcorder could cause malfunctions. If humidity is high, the
lens could become moldy, and the DVD camcorder could become inoperative. It is
recommended that you put the DVD camcorder in a box together with a small silica bag
when storing it in a closet, etc.
• Do not store the DVD camcorder in a place subject to strong magnetism or intense
vibration:
This could cause malfunctions.
• Detach the battery pack from the DVD camcorder and store it in a cool and dry place:
Leaving the battery pack attached or storing it at high temperatures could shorten its life.
Cleaning the DVD camcorder
• Before cleaning, turn off the DVD camcorder and remove the battery pack and AC
power adaptor.
To clean the exterior
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not apply excessive force when cleaning, gently rub the
surface.
- Do not use benzene or a thinner to clean the camcorder. The coating of exterior could
peel off or the case could deteriorate.
To clean the LCD screen
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Be careful not to damage the screen.
To clean the lens
Use an optional air blower to blow out dirt and other small objects. Do not wipe the lens with
cloth or your finger. If necessary, wipe gently with lens cleaning paper.
- Mold may form if the lens is left dirty.
- If the lens looks dimmer, turn off the DVD camcorder and leave it for about 1 hour.
