2.2 - DESCRIPTION OF PUSHBUT-
TONS
2.2.1 - Operational pushbuttons
Unless otherwise specified, the indicator light mentioned in
each button description is built into the button.
2.2.2 - Buttons located around the
display
These buttons are used to select or modify the parameter
located above or below the button on the display. Lighting
or extinguishing of the indicator light for each button
depends on the parameters displayed and are explained on a
case by case basis in the remainder of this chapter.
2.2.3 - NEXT button
Used to display the various pages of a function if required
(indicator light lit).
2.2.4 - EXIT button
Whatever the current display, selects one of the rest pages.
2.2.5 - WHITE BAL button
Used to start white balance (maximum balancing of the R,
G and B videos). During balancing, the indicator light
remains lit. With the balance completed, the indicator light
goes out. If the balance is not performed correctly, the
LIMIT light located under the button lights.
When operated for a 2nd time and while the balance is
taking place (indicator light lit), starts permanent balance.
The button indicator light flashes. The LIMIT light located
under the button lights if the balance is incorrect. To quit
the permanent balance mode, press this button again (the
indicator light goes out).
2.2.6 - BLACK BAL button
Used to start black balance (black pulse and black level
balancing). During balancing, the indicator light remains
lit. When balancing is completed, the indicator light goes
out. If the balance is incorrect, the LIMIT light under the
button lights.
