When a finalized disc is
loaded
1 Press ERASE.
The display shows
ERASE TOC? .
Press
7 to cancel erase here.
2 Use the jog dial or
4 and ¢
buttons on the remote control
to change the erase option.
Switch between:
ERASE TOC? – erase the table of contents
(returns disc to a non-finalized state)
ERASE ALL? – erase all tracks
3 Press
8 (6 on the front
panel) to start erasing.
The function indicator lights and the
display shows
ERASE , and the time
remaining to completion.
• You can halt this erase process by
holding down the
7 button for 10
seconds.
Reinitializing a disc
1 Press and hold ERASE for about
four seconds.
The recorder prompts you to confirm with
the message
INITIALIZE? .
Press
7 to cancel all disc erase here.
2 Press
8 (6 on the front
panel) to start erasing.
The process takes about 40 minutes,
depending on the disc. During this time,
the display shows
ERASE , followed by the
remaining time to completion.
You can halt this erase process by holding
down the
7 button for 10 seconds.

Quand un disque
finalisé est introduit
1 Appuyez sur ERASE.
La fenêtre d’affichage indique
ERASE
TOC? .
Appuyez sur
7 pour annuler l’effacement
maintenant.
2 Utilisez la bague jog ou les
touches
4 et ¢ de la
télécommande pour changer
l’option d’effacement.
Sélectionnez l’une des options suivantes :
ERASE TOC? – efface la table des
matières (ramène le disque à un état non
finalisé)
ERASE LAST? – efface toutes les plages.
3 Appuyez sur
8 (6 sur le
panneau avant) pour démarrer
l’effacement.
L’indicateur de fonction s’allume et la
fenêtre d’affichage indique
ERASE , puis la
durée restante avant la fin du processus.
• Vous pouvez interrompre ce processus
d’effacement en maintenant la touche
7 enfoncée pendant 10 secondes.
Réinitialisation d’un
disque
1 Maintenez la touche ERASE
enfoncée pendant environ
quatre secondes.
L’enregistreur vous invite à confirmer avec
le message
INITIALIZE? .

du disque complet maintenant.

panneau avant) pour démarrer
l’effacement.
Le processus dure environ 40 minutes en

la durée restant avant la fin du processus.
