Playback – Basics Lecture – Opérations de base
If your TV or VCR is a
monaural type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V
connecting cable to the video input jack and
the white or the red plug to the audio input
jack on the VCR or the TV.
If you connect the white plug, the sound is L
(left) signal. If you connect the red plug, the
sound is R (right) signal.
If your TV/VCR has a 21-pin
connector (EUROCONNECTOR)
Use the 21-pin adaptor supplied with your
camcorder.
This adaptor is exclusive to an output.
The models with mark printed on their
bottom surfaces only.
If the equipment to be connected has an S
video jack
•Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully
by using an S video cable (optional). With
this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V
connecting cable. However, you need to
connect the red and white (audio) plugs.
Connect the S video cable (optional) to the S
video jacks on both your camcorder and
the TV or the VCR.
This connection produces higher quality DV
format pictures.
•There is no sound output when connecting
only with an S video cable (optional).
To display the screen indicators on TV
Set DISPLAY in
to V-OUT/LCD in the
menu settings (p. 250). To make the screen
indicators disappear, press DSPL/BATT INFO
on your camcorder.

Si votre téléviseur ou
magnétoscope est de type mono
Raccordez la fiche jaune du cordon de liaison
audio et vidéo à la prise d’entrée vidéo et la
fiche blanche ou la fiche rouge à la prise
d’entrée audio du magnétoscope ou du
téléviseur.
Si vous branchez la fiche blanche, le signal
sonore provient de la gauche (L). Si vous
branchez la fiche rouge, le signal sonore
provient de la droite (R).
Si votre téléviseur ou
magnétoscope est équipé
d’un connecteur à 21 broches
(EUROCONNECTOR)
Utilisez l’adaptateur à 21 broches fourni avec
votre caméscope.
Cet adaptateur doit être raccordé
exclusivement à une sortie.
Modèles comportant le « » imprimé sous
l’appareil uniquement.
Si l’appareil à raccorder est doté d’une prise
S-vidéo
•Les images peuvent être reproduites avec
plus de fidélité à l’aide du câble S-vidéo (en
option). Avec ce branchement, vous n’avez
pas besoin de brancher la prise jaune (vidéo)
du cordon de liaison audio et vidéo.
Cependant, vous devez raccorder les fiches
rouge et blanche (audio).
Branchez le câble S-vidéo (en option) sur les
prises S-vidéo de votre caméscope et du
téléviseur ou du magnétoscope.
Ce branchement permet d’obtenir des images
au format DV de meilleure qualité.
•Aucun son n’est émis lorsque seulement un
câble S-vidéo (en option) est raccordé.
Pour afficher les indicateurs d’écran sur le
téléviseur
Réglez DISPLAY sur V-OUT/LCD sous
dans les réglages de menu (p. 260). Pour
désactiver l’affichage des indicateurs d’écran,
appuyez sur DSPL/BATT INFO sur votre
caméscope.
