Changing the menu settings

Meaning

To play back the stereo tape or dual sound track
tape with main and sub sound (p. 286)

To play back the stereo tape with the left sound or
the dual sound track tape with main sound

To adjust the balance between stereo 1 and stereo

Note on NTSC PB
When you play back a tape on a Multi System
TV, select the best mode while viewing the
picture on the TV.

Notes on LCD B.L. and VF B.L.
•When you select BRIGHT, battery life is

reduced by about 10 percent during
recording.

•When you use power sources other than the

battery pack, BRIGHT is automatically
selected.

Even if you adjust LCD B.L., LCD COLOUR
and VF B.L.
The recorded picture will not be affected.
