Before operation
Set DISPLAY to LCD in the menu settings.
(The default setting is LCD.) (p. 277)
(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) Play back the recorded tape, or turn the TV on
to see the desired programme.
The picture from TV or VCR appears on the
screen of your camcorder.
(3) Follow steps (3) and (4) on page 170.
Using the A/V connecting cable
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video output jack on the VCR or the
TV.
If your TV or VCR has an S video jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional).
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S video
jacks of both your camcorder and the TV or VCR.

Avant de commencer
Réglez DISPLAY sur LCD dans les réglages de

(2) Lancez la lecture de la cassette enregistrée ou
allumez le téléviseur pour visionner le
programme souhaité.
L’image provenant du téléviseur ou du
magnétoscope s’affiche à l’écran de votre
caméscope.
(3) Suivez les étapes (3) et (4) de la page 170.
Utilisation du cordon de liaison
audio et vidéo
Branchez la fiche jaune du cordon de liaison
audio et vidéo sur la prise de sortie vidéo de
votre magnétoscope ou de votre téléviseur.
Si votre magnétoscope ou votre téléviseur
dispose d’une prise S-vidéo
Les images peuvent être reproduites avec plus de
fidélité à l’aide du câble S-vidéo (en option).
Avec ce branchement, vous n’avez pas besoin de
brancher la prise jaune (vidéo) du cordon de
liaison audio et vidéo.
Branchez un câble S-vidéo (en option) sur les
prises S-vidéo de votre caméscope et du
magnétoscope ou du téléviseur.
