If your VCR is a stereo type
Connect the audio plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the left (white) input jack of your VCR.
If your VCR has an S video jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional).
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S video
jacks of both your camcorder and the VCR.
Using the i.LINK cable
Simply connect the i.LINK cable (optional) to
DV on your camcorder and to DV IN on the DV
products. With a digital-to-digital connection,
video and audio signals are transmitted in digital
form for high-quality editing. You cannot dub
the screen indicators.
(1) Insert a blank tape (or a tape you want to
record over) into the VCR, and insert the
recorded tape into your camcorder.
(2) Set the input selector on the VCR to DV IN if
it is available. Refer to the operating
instructions of your VCR.
(3) Set the POWER switch to VCR on your
camcorder.
(4) Play back the recorded tape on your
camcorder.
(5) Start recording on the VCR.

Si votre magnétoscope est de type stéréo
Branchez la prise audio du cordon de liaison
audio et vidéo sur la prise d’entrée de gauche
(blanche) de votre magnétoscope.
Si votre magnétoscope dispose d’une prise S-vidéo
Les images peuvent être reproduites avec plus de
fidélité à l’aide du câble S-vidéo (en option).
Avec ce branchement, vous n’avez pas besoin de
brancher la prise jaune (vidéo) du cordon de
liaison audio et vidéo.
Branchez un câble S-vidéo (en option) sur les
prises S-vidéo de votre caméscope et du
magnétoscope.
Utilisation d’un câble i.LINK
Il suffit de raccorder le câble i.LINK (en option) à
la prise DV de votre caméscope et à la prise DV
IN de l’appareil DV. La liaison numérique à
numérique permet la transmission de signaux
audio et vidéo sous forme numérique permettant
un montage de haute qualité. Les indicateurs
d’écran ne peuvent pas être copiés.
(1) Insérez une cassette vierge (ou une cassette
que vous souhaitez réenregistrer) dans votre
magnétoscope, puis insérez la cassette
enregistrée dans votre caméscope.
(2) Réglez le sélecteur d’entrée du magnétoscope
sur DV IN si cette prise est disponible.
Reportez-vous au mode d’emploi de votre
magnétoscope.
(3) Réglez le commutateur POWER de votre
caméscope sur VCR.
(4) Lancez la lecture de la cassette enregistrée sur
votre magnétoscope.
(5) Lancez l’enregistrement sur le magnétoscope.
