5.4 - CHECK AFTER RECORDING

5.4.1 - Checking of the last scene recorded

After recording, press the "RET" button on the lens.

The last two seconds of the scene recorded are played back, then the video recorder
changes to the standby mode.

When the "RET" key is kept down, the last ten seconds of the scene recorded are played
back, then the recorder changes to the standby mode.

5.4.2 - Precision editing by backspacing

As long as the cassette has not been removed, it is possible to perform precision editing by
backspacing when the camera "SAVE-ON" selector switch is set to "ON".

Even if this switch is set to "SAVE", the video recorder will enter the precision editing
mode by backspacing, simply if the VTR button is pressed.

In this case, however, starting of recording is deferred by approximately 3 seconds.

To start precision editing by backspacing after switching off the camescope or ejecting the
scope, or to record on a tape previously recorded, perform the following operations:

• find a point from which it is desired to start editing by looking in the view finder, then

stop the tape,

• press the lens "RET" button. A search is performed for the starting point,

• press the "VTR" button; editing then beings.
