• with a TTV 3505 (BVV5), the light flashes when a warning light on the VTR is lit; end
of tape near, end of tape, battery almost discharged, battery discharged, recording
incorrect (RF), capstan servo system unlocked (servo), condensation (humid), tape
tension abnormally low (slack) (see VTR operating instructions).
Legend:
A = Permanently lit
1 = Flashing at 1 Hz
4 = Flashing at 4 Hz
3.1.3 - Electrical settings
"BRIGHT" and "CONT" potentiometer settings:
1) Set the camera to "bar pattern".
2) Set the "CONT" potentiometer to minimum and adjust the "BRIGHT potentiometer
to obtain the lowest level of visibility of the darkest bar of the pattern.
3) Adjust the "CONT" potentiometer so that all the pattern bars can be seen without
saturation of the whitest bar.
