5 - Left-hand operating controls

1 - "F+" "F-": 3-position automatic return to centre switch.
The purpose of this switch is described in the CAMERA OPERATION part.

2 - "PICT": 3-position automatic return to centre switch used to select the camera
output video:
• when pressed towards "PICT", selects picture of image video,
• initial operation in the opposite direction to "PICT" gives the bar pattern,
• second operation away from "PICT" gives the "SAW" (sawtooth) test signal.

This switch is inactive if the camera is being operated from a control panel.

3 - "WBL": 3-position stable switch used to select the white balance memory:
• if the switch is set to "A", the colour temperature correction values made to the videos

subsequent to starting of white balance shall be stored in memory A,

• if the switch is set to "B", the correction values made shall be stored in memory B.

To review the stored values, simply set the switch to "A" or "B",

• if the switch is in the "PRESET" position, the white balance makes no colour

temperature corrections on the videos.

NOTE: There are two "PRESET" references: 3100°K and 5600°K (refer to CAMERA

OPERATION part).
This switch is inactive if the camera is being operated from a control panel.

4 - "GAIN": 3-position automatic return to centre switch used to select camera master
gain (refer to CAMERA OPERATION part).
This switch is inactive if the camera is being operated from a control panel.
