2.2.2.2.2 - Special cases

Controls located on left-hand side of camera:

GAIN (4): used to directly vary the master gain in steps of 6 dB (except for the 18-21 dB

value); the values directly accessible are therefore 0 dB, 6 dB, 12 dB, 18 dB and 21 dB.
The intermediate values - 3 dB, 3 dB, 9 dB and 15 dB are obtained by pressing keys "+"
or "-" (7) when "GAIN" switch (4) was the last switch activated.

PICT (2): Selection of TEST signals.

The camera can generate two types of TEST signals:

- the "BAR PATTERN" signal,
- the "SAW" (tooth) signal.

Both these signals are obtained sequentially by operating the "PICT" switch (2)
towards the back of the camera. Whatever the test signal displayed, pressing towards
"PICT" selects the "IMAGE" video.
