MON CHARAC: Selection of presence (ON) or not (OFF) of characters on the camera

"VIDEO OUT" connector.

MON SELECT: Selection of video signal available on the "VIDEO OUT" connector:

- (R) Red,
- (G) Green,
- (B) Blue,
- (R-G) Red minus green,
- (B-G) Blue minus green,
- (COD) Encoded.

NEUTRAL FILTER: Filter wheel electrical control.

NOTE: If the camera is fitted with manual density filters, this control is ineffective.

PRESET PICTURE: Used to set the various operational settings to a standard value.

SC PHASE: Used to adjust the phase of the encoded video subcarrier when the camera

is slaved to the GEN LOCK signal. This adjustment provides in-phase subcarriers at the
mixer input (PAL or NTSC).

SELECT MAKER (Cameraman functions):

- 0: No marker,
- 1: Displays markers programmed in "PRGM MARKER 1",
- 2: Displays markers programmed in "PRGM MARKER 2".

SHUTTER: Shutter on-off. The shutter is used to vary exposure time (see shutter

speed). With a PROSCAN camera, in FILM SCANNING mode, the shutter 1/50 s is
automatically actived.

SHUTTER SPEED: Selection of exposure time so as to capture fine details of

fast-moving objects. The shutter speed must be varied in inverse proportion to
movement allowing, however, for the fact that sensitivity decreases proportionally.

The exposure time vary of:

- 1/50 s (SHUTTER: OFF) to 1/1000 s in STANDARD SCANNING mode,
- 1/25 s (SHUTTER: OFF) to 1/500 s with a PROSCAN camera in FILM SCANNING

mode.

SKIN ACQUIS.: Starts the acquisition of the colour contained in the rectangle (see

"SKIN VIEW"). To use "SKIN", refer to paragraph 2.2.8.3 - "SKIN functions and use".

SKIN DETAIL: Switching in or out of device used to reduce detail on skin colours. For

use of "SKIN DETAIL", refer to paragraph 2.2.8.3 - "SKIN functions and use".

SKIN DTL LVL: Skin detail level adjustment on colours selected by the "SKIN"

function. To use "SKIN", refer to paragraph 2.2.8.3 - "SKIN functions and use".

SKIN VIEW: Use of indicators (rectangle and zebras) of the "SKIN" function. To use
