Numbering Stored Pictures

Digital Still Camera Mode : Functions
✤ File numbers are given to images in the order they were recorded when
they are stored on the Memory Card.
✤ You can reset the numbering back to DCAM0001 at any time by setting
the FILE to RESET.
1. Set the Power switch to (CAMERA).
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Move the Joystick to the left or right to select
(SETUP).
■ The SETUP menu list will appear.
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select FILE,
then move the Joystick to the right.
■ The RESET and SERIES options are displayed.
-
RESET: When there are no files stored
on the Memory card, the file numbering
starts from 0001.
- SERIES: When there are existing files, the
image will be named as the number
|in the sequence.
5. Select the desired option by moving the Joystick up
or down.
6. Press the Joystick(OK) to apply your selection.
■ The selected option is applied.
7. Press the MENU button to exit the menu screen.
[ Notes ]
■ The file numbers start from DCAM0001 at the time of purchase.
■ Moving images are stored in the folder DCIM.
■ File numbering for a Memory Card that contains image files from
another device, will begin after the largest number.
■ A previously formatted Memory Card using a personal computer might
require reformatting.
■ DCF ERROR message is displayed when it exceeds the limit. If this
occurs, delete files or format your Memory Card after moving your data
stored in the Memory Card to a PC.

✤ Les références de fichier sont attribuées, par ordre chronologique, aux
photos prises et stockées sur la carte mémoire.
✤ Vous pouvez recommencer la numérotation à partir de DCAM0001 à tout
moment en sélectionnant RESET (REMISE) dans le menu FILE (FICHIER).
1. Placez le sélecteur de mise sous tension sur
(PHOTO).
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
3. Déplacez le joystick vers la gauche ou vers la droite
pour sélectionner SETUP (INSTALL.).
■ La liste du menu SETUP (INSTALL.) apparaît.
4. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas pour
sélectionner FILE (FICHIER), puis déplacez le joystick
vers la droite.
■ Les options RESET (REMISE) et SERIES (SÉRIES)
s'affichent.

RESET (REMISE) : Lorsque la carte mémoire ne
contient aucun fichier, la numérotation des
fichiers démarre à 0001.
- SERIES (SÉRIES) : Lorsque des fichiers existent
déjà, chaque nouvelle image prendra le numéro
suivant dans la séquence.
5. Sélectionnez l’option souhaitée en déplaçant le joystick
vers le haut ou vers le bas.
6. Appuyez sur le bouton joystick(OK) pour appliquer votre sélection.
■ L’option sélectionnée est désormais active.
7. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU pour quitter l’écran du menu.
[ Remarques ]
■ La numérotation des fichiers commence à partir de DCAM0001 à la
première utilisation de l’appareil.
■ Les films sont stockés dans le dossier DCIM.
■ La numérotation des fichiers sur une carte mémoire contenant des photos
issues d’un autre appareil commence après le plus grand nombre présent
dans les références de fichier.
■ Une carte mémoire déjà formatée sur un ordinateur peut nécessiter un
nouveau formatage.
■ Le message DCF ERROR (CARTE PLEINE) s’affiche lorsque cette limite
est atteinte. Si cette situation se produit, supprimez des fichiers ou formatez
votre carte mémoire après avoir transféré les informations contenues sur la
carte sur un ordinateur.
