The Camcorder : Advanced Recording
✤ The Audio Mode function works in both REC and PLAY modes.
✤ This Camcorder records sound in two ways. (12Bit, 16Bit)
- 12Bit: You can record two 12Bit stereo sound tracks.
The original stereo sound can be recorded onto the Main
(Sound1) track. Additional stereo sound can be dubbed
onto the Sub (Sound2) track.
- 16Bit: You can record one high quality stereo sound using the
16Bit recording mode. Audio dubbing is not possible when
using this mode.
1. Set the Power switch to REC or PLAY.
2. Press the MENU button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Move the Joystick up or down to select Record,
then press the Joystick(OK).
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Audio
Mode, then press the Joystick(OK).
5. Move the Joystick up or down to select desired
audio mode (12Bit or 16Bit), then press the
Joystick(OK).
6. To exit, press the MENU button.
[ Note ]
When 12Bit is selected, no 12Bit indication will be
displayed on the screen.

✤ La fonction Audio Mode (Mode Audio) peut être activée en mode
REC comme en mode PLAY.
✤ Ce caméscope enregistre les sons sous deux formats (en 12 et 16 bits)
- 12Bit : vous pouvez enregistrer deux pistes sonores stéréo 12
bits. Le son stéréo original peut être enregistré sur la
piste principale (Sound1 <Son 1>). Le son stéréo
complémentaire peut être post-sonorisé sur la piste
secondaire (Sound2 <Son 2>).
- 16Bit : ce mode offre un enregistrement stéréo haute qualité 16
bits. Cependant, ce mode ne permet pas de réaliser de
post-sonorisation.
1. Réglez l'interrupteur de mise sous tension sur
REC ou PLAY.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
■ La liste des options apparaît.
3. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas
pour sélectionner Record (Enregistrement), puis
appuyez sur Joystick(OK).
4. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas
pour sélectionner Audio Mode (Mode Audio),
puis appuyez sur Joystick(OK).
5. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas
pour sélectionner le mode audio souhaité (12Bit
ou 16Bit), puis appuyez sur Joystick(OK).
6. Pour sortir de la liste des options, appuyez sur le
bouton MENU.
[ Remarque ]
Lorsque le mode 12Bit est sélectionné, le témoin
12Bit ne s’affiche pas à l’écran.
