The Camcorder : Basic Recording
✤ The Zero Memory function works in both REC and PLAY modes.
✤ You can mark a point on a tape that you want to return to following
playback.
1. Set the Power switch to REC or PLAY.
2. Press the ZERO MEMORY button on the remote
control before the recording or during playback at
the point where you wish to return.
■ The time code is changed to a tape counter that
is set to Zero Memory with the
0:00:00 (Zero Memory indicator).
■ If you want to cancel the Zero Memory function,
press the ZERO MEMORY button again.
3. Finding the zero position.
■ When you have finished playback, fast forward
or rewind the tape in stop mode.
The tape stops automatically when it reaches
the zero position.
■ When you have finished recording, set the
Power switch to PLAY and press the
(REW) button.
The tape stops automatically when it reaches the zero position.
4. The tape counter with the (Zero Memory indicator) disappears
from the display and the tape counter is changed to the time code.
[ Notes ]
■ In the following situations, Zero Memory mode may be canceled
automatically:
-
At the end of the section marked with the Zero Memory function.
- When the tape is ejected.
- When you remove the Battery pack or power supply.
■ The Zero Memory may not function correctly where there is a
break between recordings on the tape.
Setting the Zero Memory

✤ La fonction Zero Memory (Mémoire zéro) peut être activée en
mode REC comme en mode PLAY.
✤ Vous pouvez marquer sur la bande l’endroit où vous voulez vous
repositionner après la lecture.
1. Réglez l'interrupteur de mise sous tension sur REC
ou PLAY.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton ZERO MEMORY de la
télécommande avant l’enregistrement ou pendant la
lecture à l’endroit où vous souhaitez revenir.
■ L’affichage de la date ou de l’heure disparaît et
fait place à un compteur mis à zéro précédé de
l’indication
0:00:00 (témoin Mémoire zéro).
■ Pour désactiver cette fonction, appuyez à
nouveau sur le bouton ZERO MEMORY.
3. Retour à la position zéro.
■ Après arrêt de la lecture, faites avancer ou
rembobinez la bande en mode arrêt.
Le défilement s’arrête automatiquement lorsque
la position zéro est atteinte.
■ Une fois l’enregistrement terminé, réglez
l’interrupteur de mise sous tension sur PLAY,
puis appuyez sur le bouton
(REW (Ret.
rapide)). Le défilement s’arrête automatiquement
lorsque la position zéro est atteinte.
4. Le compteur associé à l’indicateur (témoin de Mémoire zéro)
disparaît de l’écran et la date/heure s’affiche à nouveau.
[ Remarques ]
■ Le mode Zero Memory (MÉMOIRE ZERO) peut être désactivé
automatiquement dans les cas suivants :
-
Après le retour à la position zéro.
- Lors de l’éjection de la bande.
- Si vous ôtez la batterie ou débranchez l’appareil.
■ Le mode Zero Memory (Mémoire zéro) peut ne pas fonctionner
correctement s’il existe des blancs entre les enregistrements de la
bande.
