To Start Recording
The Camcorder : Basic Recording
✤ The FADE function works only in REC
mode.
✤ You can give your recording a professional
look by using special effects such as fade
in at the beginning of a sequence or fade
out at the end of a sequence.
1. Set the Power switch to REC.
2. Before recording, hold down the FADE
button.
■ The picture and sound gradually
disappear (fade out).
3. Press the Start/Stop button and at the
same time release the FADE button.
Recording starts and the picture and
sound gradually appear (fade in).
4. When you wish to stop recording, hold
down the FADE button.
■ The picture and sound gradually disappear (fade out).
5. When the picture has disappeared, press the Start/Stop button to stop
recording.

1. Placez l’interrupteur de mise sous tension
sur REC.
2. Avant de démarrer l’enregistrement,
appuyez sur le bouton FADE et maintenez-
le enfoncé.
■ L’image et le son disparaissent
progressivement (fermeture en fondu).
3. Appuyez sur le bouton Start/Stop et
relâchez le bouton FADE en même temps.
L’enregistrement démarre et l’image et le
son apparaissent progressivement
(ouverture en fondu).
4. Lorsque vous souhaitez arrêter l’enregistrement, appuyez sur le bouton
FADE et maintenez-le enfoncé.
■ L’image et le son disparaissent progressivement (fermeture en fondu).
5. Lorsque l’image a totalement disparu, appuyez sur le bouton
Start/Stop pour arrêter
l’enregistrement.
