Selecting the Digital Zoom
✤ Digital Zoom function works only in REC mode.
✤ Zooming more than 10x is achieved digitally, up to 900x when
combined with optical zoom.
✤ The picture quality may deteriorate depending on how much you
zoom in on the subject.
1. Set the Power switch to REC.
2. Press the MENU button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Move the Joystick up or down to select Camera,
then press the Joystick(OK).
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Digital
Zoom, then press the Joystick(OK).
5. Move the Joystick up or down to select desired
zoom mode (Off, 100x, 200x, 400x or 900x),
then press the Joystick(OK).
6. To exit, press the MENU button.
[ Notes ]
■ Maximum zooming may result in lower picture
quality.
■ Digital Zoom is not available while DIS, EASY.Q,
photo image recording, Color Nite, Mosaic,
Mirror, Emboss2, Pastel2 or 16:9 Wide is in use.
■ Once photo image recording, Color Nite, Mosaic,
Mirror, Emboss2, Pastel2 or 16:9 Wide is set,
Digital Zoom mode will be released. (The Digital
Zoom mode will be backed up.)
■ Once DIS or EASY.Q is set, Digital Zoom mode will
be released.

✤ La fonction Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.) n’est accessible qu’en mode
REC.
✤ Le zoom numérique permet de grossir au-delà de 10x, et même
jusqu’à 900x lorsqu’il est combiné avec le zoom optique.
✤ La qualité d’image peut se détériorer à mesure que l’échelle
d’agrandissement augmente.
1. Placez l’interrupteur de mise sous tension sur REC.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
■ La liste des options apparaît.
3. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas pour
sélectionner Camera (Photo), puis appuyez sur
Joystick(OK).
4. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas pour
sélectionner Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.), puis
appuyez sur Joystick(OK).
5. Déplacez le joystick vers le haut ou vers le bas pour
sélectionner le mode zoom souhaité (Off (Arrêt),
100x, 200x, 400x ou 900x), puis appuyez sur
Joystick(OK).
6. Pour sortir de la liste des options, appuyez sur le
bouton MENU.
[ Remarques ]
■ Poussé au maximum, le zoom peut donner une
image de moindre qualité.
■ La fonction Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.) n’est pas
disponible lorsque les modes DIS, EASY.Q, photo
image recording (prise de photo), Color Nite, Mosaic
(Mosaïque), Mirror (Miroir), Emboss2 (Relief2),
Pastel2, ou 16:9 Wide (16:9) sont actifs.
■ Une fois réglés les modes photo image recording (prise
de photo), Color Nite, Mosaic (Mosaïque), Mirror (Miroir),
Emboss2 (Relief2), Pastel2 ou 16:9 Wide (16:9), le mode
Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.) est désactivé. (Le mode
Digital Zoom (Zoom Num.) est sauvegardé.)
■ Lorsque DIS ou EASY.Q sont réglés, le mode Digital Zoom (Zoom
Num.) se désactive.
