the head drum and be damaged or the unit
may not operate correctly. To prevent possible
damage under these circumstances, the unit is
furnished with moisture sensors

heads pertodtoaliy.
When playback pictures are r>oisy or hardly
visible on the TV screen, the video heads may
be contaminated. In this case, clean the video
heads with the optional Sony VB 25CLH
cleaning cassette.
1 Clean the video heads using the cleaning
cassette, referrlr^g to the instructions
supplied with the cleaning cassette.
2 After cfeantng, check the picture is clear by
recording or playlrig back with an ordinary
video cassette tape.
3 If the picture Is still noisy, repeat cleaning.
(Do not repeat cleanirrg more than five
times.)
Caution
Do not use a commercially availabte wet-
type cleaning cassette. It may damage the
video heads.

Remarques sur le nettoyage
des tâtes vidéo
— Pour avoir teutout* «h* Imaga nette,
nettoyer régulièrement les tètes vidéo
Lorsque l’image de fecture est parasitée ou à
peine visible sur l'écran, il se peut que les
têtes soient erKrassées.
Dans ce cas, nettoyer les têtes vidéo à l'aide
de la cassette de nettoyage Sony V8-25CLH en
option.
1 Nettoyer les têtes vidéo à l'aide de la
cassette de nettoyage en suivant les
Insiructiorys jointes à la cassette
2 Après le nettoyage, vérifier la netteté de
l'image en enregistrant ou reproduisant une
cassette vidéo ordinaire.
3 Si l'image est encore parasitée, répéter le
nettoyage (ne pas nettoyer plus de cing fois
de suite).
Ne pas utiliser les cassettes de nettoyage à
liquide vendues dans le commerce, car elles
risquent d'erxlommager tes têtes vidéo.
