Mise au point
To cancel ZERO MEM mode
Press the ZERO MEM button so that the ZERO
MEM indicator disappears.
To change the Insert ending poM
Press the ZERO MEM button to turn off the
ZERO MEM indicator and repeal steps 3
through 6 on page 50.
To Insert the date or tfrrre
^ Folktw steps t through 6 on page SO.
2 Prms the DATE or TIME button.
The dale or time Irxtication appears on the
viewfinder screen.
O Press the START/STOP button.
The insert recording will begin.
Notes on ZERO MEM mods
ZERO MEM mode is cancelled automatically in the
following cases.
• When an Insert recording Is completed.
• When the position ol the POWER switch Is
changed.
• When the power is turrred off
• When the cassette Is ejected.
To restore it, press the ZERO MEM button again
• When recording pause mode lasts for
approrimateiy 5 minutes, pause mode will be
automatically released and the unit wilt be set to
slop mode.
* When the inserted tape Is played bach, the
piclure may be distorted at the end of the
Inserted program

Under most shooting condition, the Auto
Focus function of this unit brings the subject
into focus automatically.
The auto focus system Incorporated In this
unit utilizes high-precision sensors to determine
picture contrast at the center of the viewfinder
screen (the blue portion marlted in the
illustration) and adjust focus accordingly for
