Notes on Rechargeable Batleiy Pack
Why the battery pack heats up
During charging or recording, the battery pack
heats up. This rrwans that electrtc errergy has
been gerrerated and that chemical charrge has
occurred inside the battery pack. This Is гю1
dangerous.
Whan tha charging Is eornplalad. remove the
batiary pack from the charger.
Within 24 hours after charging, remove the
battery pack from the charger. Otherwise,
overcharging may occur as an infinitesimal
amount of current flows from the charger to
the battery pack.
How to CM for the beltary pack
• Remove the battery pack from the video
camera recorder after usirrg H, ar>d keep It in
a cool place.
When the battery pack la in the video
camera recorder, an infinitesimal amount of
current flows to the recorder evetr if the
POWER switch is turned off. It causes
overdischargirrg and shortens battery life.
• The battery pack Is always discharging even
when it Is fwt in use after charglrrg.
Thus. It is recommerxted you charge the
battery just before using.
How to use tha swfich on the battery pack
This switch is provided to show you the
charging corviition. Set the switch to the "no
mark" position when the charging is
completed. Set the switch to the "red mark"
position when the battery is used up.
How many Hmea can the battery pack be
recharged
It can be fully charged and discharged about
600 times in normal terr^erature.
If the mark Cp blinks rapidly just after lurnirrg
on the video camera recorder with a fully-
charged battery pack, the battery pack should
be replaced with a rtew fully-charged one.
Lower temperatures require a lorrger charging
time.
Charging in temperatures ranging from lO^C to
30''C (5®F-05®F^ Is recommended.
Carry the battery peck in a case.
Do not carry an uncovered battery pack.
If the + and - terminals of the battery pack
are shortened by a piece of metal, the battery
will be heated abnormally. This is very
dangerous. Never put an uncovered battery
pack in a pocket with a key holder, etc

Par conséquent, il est recommandé de
charger la batterie rechargeabie juste avant
utilisation.
