Breaker Hoist
Figure 4-19 shows the breaker hoist assembled on a switchgear
equipment. The hoist is shipped in a separate carton completely
assembled, Fig. 4-20.
Before attempting to install the hoist assembly on the switchgear
equipment, it is necessary to remove the runner guide from the
hoist carriage as shown in Fig. 4-21. Do not dispose of this guide
since it must be reinstalled after mounting the hoist on the
equipment.
NOTE: Maximum recommended lifting capacity is 700 lbs.
