Function
■ How to Turn off the Indications in the
Viewfinder
1 Press the [OSD] Button.
•The indications in the Viewfinder disappear 0 except the
Warning and Alarm Indications.
■ To Return to the Initial Mode...
Press the [OSDJ Button again.
Index Signals (viss)
The index signals make possible the use of the VHS Index Search
or the Intro Scan Function when playing back the tape on a VCR
equipped with these functions.
An index signal is recorded automatically in the following
cases:
•When recording is started for the first time after attaching the
Battery Pack,
•When recording is restarted after exchanging the cassette.
In each of these cases, the “INDEX” Indication 0 in the
Viewfinder flashes for a few seconds.
•For the correct functioning of the VHS Index Search and Intro
Scan Functions on the VCR, the index signals should be at
intervals of not less than 2 minutes.

1 Appuyer sur la touche [OSD].
• Les indications affichées à l'écran du viseur disparaissent
0, à l’exception des indications d'avertissement et
d’alarme.
■ Pour revenir au mode d’affichage initial...

Signaux d'index (viss)
L’enregistrement des signaux d'index rend possible l’utilisation du
système de repérage VHS par index, ou la fonction de balayage,
lors de la lecture d’une cassette sur un magnétoscope doté de ces
fonctions.
Le signal d’index est enregistré automatiquement dans les
situations suivantes:
• Lors d’une première prise de vues survenant après l’installation
du bloc-batterie.
•Lorsque l’enregistrement reprend après un changement de
cassette.
Dans chacune de ces situations, l’indication “INDEX’ O clignote
pendant quelques secondes dans le viseur électronique.
• Lors de l’enregistrement des signaux d’index, espacer chacun
des signaux d’au moins deux minutes.
