Photo Mode : Setting the Capturing Options
Setting the BLC (Backlight Compensation)
The Backlight Compensation function helps to make the subject
brighter when the subject is in front of a window or
the subject is too dark to distinguish. You can use this
function when using the Memory Camcorder in the
bright backgrounds including snow scenes.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the
Memory Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Set the Photo mode by pressing the [MODE]
button.
◆ The Photo Capture screen appears.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
Move the [Joystick] left /right to select <BLC>.
4. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an
option, and then press the [Joystick(OK)].
◆ <On>: Set the BLC function.
◆ <Off>: Cancel the BLC function.
5. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function icon ( ) is displayed.
◆ If you select <Off>, no icon is displayed.

✤ The BLC is set to <Off> when the Memory
Camcorder is turned off.
✤ While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the
[Record / Stop] button will move to Photo Capture
mode.

Réglage de la fonction BLC (compensation du contre-jour)
La fonction de compensation du contre-jour permet de rendre le sujet
plus clair lorsqu’il se trouve devant une fenêtre ou est
trop sombre pour être distingué. Vous pouvez activer
cette fonction lorsque vous utilisez votre Caméscope
à mémoire pour photographier une scène dont l’
arrière-plan est lumineux ou enneigé.
1. Appuyez sur la touche [POWER] pour mettre
le caméscope sous tension.
◆ L’écran Movie Record apparaît.
2. Réglez le mode Photo en appuyant sur la
touche [MODE].
◆ L’écran Photo Capture apparaît.
3. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers la gauche ou vers
la droite pour sélectionner <BLC>.
4. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers
le bas pour sélectionner une option, puis
appuyez sur [Joystick(OK)].
◆ <On> : active la fonction BLC.
◆ <Off> : désactive la fonction BLC.
5. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU] pour quitter le
menu.
◆ L’icône de l a fonction sélectionnée ( ) s’
affiche.
◆ Si vous sélectionnez <Off>, aucune icône ne s’
affiche.
[ Remarques ]
✤ À la mise hors tension du Caméscope à
mémoire, la compensation du contrejour est
automatiquement réglée à <Off>.
✤ Si vous appuyez sur la touche [Record / Stop]
pendant que l’écran menu est affiché, l’appareil
passe en mode Photo Capture.
