Movie Mode : Setting the Recording Options
Setting the BLC (Backlight Compensation)
The Backlight Compensation function helps to make the subject
brighter when the subject is in front of a window or the subject is too
dark to distinguish. You can use this function when
using the Memory Camcorder in bright or snowy
backgrounds.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the
Memory Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Press the [MENU] button.
Move the [Joystick] left / right to select <BLC>.
3. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an
option, and then press the [Joystick(OK)].
◆ <On>: Set the BLC function.
◆ <Off>: Cancel the BLC function.
4. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function ( ) icon is displayed.
◆ If you select <Off>, no icon is displayed.

✤ The BLC is set to <Off> when the Memory
Camcorder is turned off.
✤ While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the
[Record / Stop] button will move to Movie Record
mode.

La fonction de compensation du contre-jour permet de rendre le sujet
plus clair lorsqu’il se trouve devant une fenêtre ou est trop sombre
pour être distingué. Vous pouvez activer cette
fonction lorsque vous utilisez votre caméscope
à mémoire pour filmer une scène dont l’arrière-plan
est lumineux ou enneigé.
1. Appuyez sur la touche [POWER] pour mettre
le caméscope sous tension.
◆ L’écran Movie Record apparaît.
2. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU].
Déplacez le [Joystick] vers la gauche ou vers
la droite pour sélectionner <BLC>.
3. Déplacez le [Joystick] vers le haut ou vers
le bas pour sélectionner une option, puis
appuyez sur [Joystick(OK)].
◆ <On> : permet d’activer la fonction BLC.
◆ <Off> : désactive la fonction BLC.
4. Appuyez sur la touche [MENU] pour quitter le
menu.
◆ L’icône de l’option sélectionnée ( ) s’
affiche.
◆ Si vous sélectionnez <Off>, aucune icône ne
s’affiche.
[ Remarques ]
✤ À la mise hors tension du Caméscope à
mémoire, la compensation du contrejour est
automatiquement réglée à <Off>.
✤ Si vous appuyez sur la touche [Record / Stop]
pendant que l’écran menu est affiché, l’appareil
passe en mode Movie Record.
