The I 10 may be operated using the AC
Adapter supplied, or 6 Alkaline “C” bat-
teries (not supplied).

rectly into the receptacle.

Adapter plug through the strain relief as
follows:
1. Remove the cap and black bushing
from the strain relief in the center
access hole on the rear cover. If a
yellow nylon ring has been included
inside the cap, discard it.
2. Slide them completely over the plug
of the adapter.

3. Pass the plug through the strain
relief and plug it into the AC Adapter
Receptacle.
4. Do not tighten the cap onto the
strain relief until the unit is closed.
When tightening the cap, press
down on the plug to ensure a good
connection.
5. Plug the Adapter into a convenient
AC outlet.
