Replacing an Ink Cartridge
The printer’s indicator lights will inform you when it is time to
obtain a replacement ink cartridge and when it is time to
replace an empty cartridge.
Note:
If you remove an ink cartridge and then reinstall it, the printer cannot
determine the correct level of ink remaining and the Ink Out light
may not flash or come on when the cartridge runs out of ink.
EPSON recommends the use of genuine EPSON ink cartridges.
Other products not manufactured by EPSON may cause
damage to your printer not covered by EPSON’s warranties.
When the Ink Out light (Black) is
❑ flashing obtain a replacement black ink cartridge
(S020118).
❑ on replace the empty black ink cartridge.
When the Ink Out light (Cyan) is
❑ flashing obtain a replacement cyan ink cartridge
(S020130).
❑ on replace the empty cyan ink cartridge.
When the Ink Out light (Magenta) is
❑ flashing obtain a replacement magenta ink cartridge
(S020126).
❑ on replace the empty magenta ink cartridge.
