CS2 system is intended to stabilise the ventilation of adult patients

exhibiting Cheyne-Stokes Respiration (CSR), or central sleep apnoea (CSA) associated
with congestive heart failure, with or without upper airway obstruction. It is also

intended for the use of patients with obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).

CS2 is not a life support ventilator and may stop operating with power

failure or in the unlikely event of certain fault conditions.
Before using the A

UTO

S

ET

CS2, tell your doctor if you have any of the following

conditions:

acute sinusitis or otitis media

epistaxis (severe nose bleeds) causing a risk of pulmonary aspiration

conditions predisposing to a risk of vomiting into mask

impaired ability to clear secretions

hypotension or significant intravascular volume depletion

pneumothorax or pneumomediastinum

recent cranial trauma or surgery.
