The A

UTO

ET

CS2 can be run on DC current in case of power failure or for portable

use. ResMed supplies a convertor that allows a 12V battery to be connected to the
DC input of the A

UTO

S

ET

CS2. The converter can also be plugged in to a power

source in a car or plane. When using DC current, power is turned on and off via the

switch on the connector to the power source, not the power switch at the back of the
A

UTO

S

ET

CS2. The DC converter is a separate accessory that can be purchased

through your ResMed distributor.
The humidifer heater will be automatically disabled when the A

UTO

CS2 is

operating from the DC supply.
Power consumption of the A

UTO

S

ET

CS2 varies with treatment settings. A typical

current of between 2.5A and 3.0A will be drawn from a 12V battery during use.

Adequate battery type and sizing is required before operation on DC, and it is
recommended that ResMed’s Technical Services division be contacted for information
on your specific application.

!

CAUTION

The A

ET

CS2 uses 30V DC power. Only connect the A
