Connecting other
components
Analog connections
You can connect up to three audio or audio/
visual sources to this system, not including
the audio output from your TV.
The three sets of inputs all have standard
(composite) video and S-video inputs, and
stereo analog audio inputs.
1 Use a stereo audio cable with RCA pin
plugs to connect the AUDIO L / R jacks of
VIDEO 1, 2 or 3 IN to the stereo audio
output on the other component.
2 For video components: Use a standard
video cable or an S-video cable to
connect the VIDEO or S-VIDEO jacks of
VIDEO 1, 2 or 3 IN to the video output on
the other component.

Digital connections
The VIDEO 2 IN and VIDEO 3 IN functions
feature (respectively) optical and coaxial
digital audio inputs. Use these if you want to
connect an external MD or other digital
player.
1 Use an optical digital cable to connect
the OPTICAL DIGITAL IN jack to the
optical digital output on the other
component.
2 Use a coaxial digital cable to connect
the COAXIAL DIGITAL IN jack to the
coaxial digital output on the other
component.
