Connecting other
components

Analog connections

You can connect up to three audio or audio/
visual sources to this system, not including
the audio output from your TV.

The three sets of inputs all have standard
(composite) video and S-video inputs, and
stereo analog audio inputs.

Use a stereo audio cable with RCA pin

plugs to connect the AUDIO L / R jacks of
VIDEO 1, 2 or 3 IN to the stereo audio
output on the other component.

For video components: Use a standard

video cable or an S-video cable to
connect the VIDEO or S-VIDEO jacks of
VIDEO 1, 2 or 3 IN to the video output on
the other component.

Digital connections

The

VIDEO 2 IN and VIDEO 3 IN functions

feature (respectively) optical and coaxial
digital audio inputs. Use these if you want to
connect an external MD or other digital
player.

Use an optical digital cable to connect

the OPTICAL DIGITAL IN jack to the
optical digital output on the other
component.

Use a coaxial digital cable to connect

the COAXIAL DIGITAL IN jack to the
coaxial digital output on the other
component.
