2 If playing a DVD disc, press ENTER or
3 (play) (6 on the front panel).
• Random play is cancelled when you
press
7 (stop).
• To cancel random playback without
stopping playback, press CLR. The rest
of the disc plays out.
• During random play, the
4 and ¢
buttons function a little differently to
normal:
4 returns to the beginning of
the current track/chapter. You can't go
back further than this.
¢ selects
another track/chapter at random from
those remaining.
• You can't use random play together with
program or repeat play.
Creating program lists
This feature lets you program the play order
of titles/groups/chapters/folders/tracks on a
disc. You can use the on-screen display or
the display unit to help you make a program
list.
• You can’t use program play with
DVD-RW discs.
Using the OSD
1 Press DVD SETUP and select ‘Play
Mode’.
• Alternatively, when a DVD is loaded,
press PROGRAM to jump directly to
step 4.
2 Select ‘Program’ from the list of
functions on the left.

The playlist create/edit screen that appears
depends on the kind of disc loaded. The
screen below shows a DVD-Video disc with
38 titles; title 1 contains 4 chapters.
