Presetting Radio
Stations

You can store radio frequencies in the
tuner's memory to tune in your favorite
stations quickly. You can preset up to 20
FM stations and 10 AM stations in any
order.
Use the buttons on the unit for presetting
stations.

To erase a stored station
Store a new station at a previously used
preset station number. It will erase the old
station and replace it with the new station.

If you have trouble storing a station

Make sure "MEMORY" is lit in the display.
If not, press MEMORY/NEXT again so that
"MEMORY" lights up (for about eight
seconds) in the display, and then proceed
with steps 3 and 4.

You can also store the stereo/mono
selection when an FM program is not
clear to receive.
Press STEREO/MONO before step 2.
The receiving status is as follows:

Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to

select the band you want.

Press MODE so that the PRESET

indicator lights up.

Turn MULTI CONTROLLER to tune in a

preset station.
The station frequency appears and the
system begins receiving the station.

To play a preset station directly using
the numeric buttons on the remote

Press TUNER BAND repeatedly to select

the band you want.

2 Press TUNER.
3 Press the numeric button for the preset

station number you want.

Tune in the radio station you would like
to store.

(See "Listening to the Radio" for details.)

Press MEMORY/NEXT.
"MEMORY" and the preset station
number appear in the display for eight
seconds.

While "MEMORY" is lit, turn MULTI

CONTROLLER to display the preset
number you decided on. (1 to 20 for FM,

1 to 10 for AM).

Once you have preset the stations, use
MULTI CONTROLLER to quickly tune in
your favorite stations.

Press MEMORY/NEXT.

"MEMORY" disappears, and the station
is stored at the preset number you
decided.

5 Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each station you

would like to store.
