• Use the CURSOR

buttons to move the

over the PROGRAM field.

• Use the NUMERIC buttons to enter

Tracks

in the desired order. Each number appears
in the display of 24 available “slots”.

For DVD Audio discs, you must enter the
Group number, followed by the Track. For
example, to enter Track 14 of Group 2:

Press:

2 ➪ +10 ➪ 4

For Audio CD and Video CD/SVCD discs,
just enter the

Track. For example, to enter

Track 24:

Press:

+10 ➪ +10 ➪ 4

• If you make a mistake, press the CANCEL

button

on the remote to clear the last

entered selection.

• Press PLAY to play the stored program.

To stop Program play:

• When the program has played in its en-

tirety or when you press STOP , playback
stops. However, the program remains in
memory and can be replayed.

• To clear the memorized program so that

you can enter a new one, stop the play-
back, go to the On-Screen Display, select
PROGRAM, and press STOP .

• To clear the currently memorized program

and cancel the Program feature entirely,
go to the On-Screen Display, select PRO-
GRAM, and press ENTER. On a Video CD/
SVCD disc, you must press STOP first.

• Press the ON-SCREEN button to close the

display window if you do not want to see
the

Track numbers as the Program plays.

NOTE

: If you specify a track from the Bonus

Group on a DVD Audio disc, you will be
prompted to enter the Key Number password.

NOTE

: During Program Play on an Audio CD,

you can add additional Tracks to the Program.

Repeat Tracks
REPEAT Play

The Repeat Play feature is available for DVD
Video, DVD Audio, Audio CD, and Video CD/
SVCD disks. The feature continuously repeats
a single selection or a number of selections
until you stop play.

On a DVD Video disc, you can repeat a single
Chapter or the whole Group. On a DVD Au-
dio disc, a single

Track or the entire Group.

On other discs, a single

Track or the whole disc.

Repeat play is not available on Video CD/
SVCD discs with the PBC feature active.

To begin Repeat Play:

• During playback, press the ON-SCREEN

button to show the CONTROL screen. The
screen may appear slightly different for
different types of discs.

• Use the CURSOR

buttons to move the

over the REPEAT field, then press EN-

TER.

• Each press of ENTER steps to the next re-

peat setting as shown directly above the
REPEAT field. No indication means that
repeat is off. For each type of disc, the steps
are as follows:

DVD Video:
TITLE REPEAT ➪ CHAPTER REPEAT ➪ OFF

DVD Audio:
GROUP REPEAT ➪ TRACK REPEAT ➪ OFF

Audio CD and Video CD/SVCD:
REPEAT ALL ➪ REPEAT 1 ➪ OFF

To stop Repeat play:

• Press STOP to stop playback. On a DVD

Video disc, the repeat mode is cancelled
entirely. On all other discs, playback stops
but repeat mode remains active.

• To cancel repeat mode, select the REPEAT

field on the On-Screen Menu and press the
ENTER button until the setting is cleared.

• Press the ON-SCREEN button to close the

display window.

NOTE

: If you use the REPEAT feature during

PROGRAM play, the unit will repeat the tracks
from the stored program.

NOTE

: If the icon appears, REPEAT play is

not available for the current disc. REPEAT Play
cannot be used in PBC mode on Video CD/
SVCD discs and some Video DVD discs.

Repeat From Point A to Point B
A-B REPEAT Play

The A-B Repeat Play feature is available for
all discs. During playback, you specify a starting
point and an ending point. The unit will con-
tinuously repeat the marked passage.

• During playback, press the ON-SCREEN

button to show the CONTROL screen. The
screen may appear slightly different for
different types of discs.

• Use the CURSOR

buttons to move the

over the A-B REPEAT field.

• Press ENTER at the desired starting point

for the selection, “A”.

• As playback continues, press ENTER at the

desired ending point for the selection, “B”.
The ending point must be in the same

Title

or

Track as “A”. Point “A” and “B” are

indicated in On-Screen Display.

• The unit finds point “A” and repeats the

selection continuously.

• Press STOP to end playback and can-

cel the A-B REPEAT feature. You can also
cancel by pressing ENTER again with A-B
REPEAT selected in the On-Screen Display.

• Press the ON-SCREEN button to close the

display window.

NOTE

: If you use the REPEAT feature during

PROGRAM play, the unit will repeat the tracks
from the stored program.

NOTE

: If the icon appears, A-B REPEAT is

not available for the current disc.
