This selects how the VTR1 wide-screen information is to be used
for detecting the VTR2 wide-screen information while AUTO has
been selected as the setup menu item No.641 setting when the
internal connections (INT mode) apply.
0: The information is not handled as wide-screen information.
1: The information is handled as wide-screen information.

This selects the wide-screen information which is to be written on
the tape during recording.
0: The setting for the tape in VTR2 complies with the wide-screen

information of VTR1 with internal connections (INT mode) if ON
has been selected as the setup menu item No.643 (INT WIDE I)
setting.
Alternatively, if OFF has been selected, the information is
forcibly recorded on the tape as the normal mode. It is also
forcibly recorded on the tape as the normal mode when the
OPERATION MODE switch has been set to EXT or
SEPARATE.
In terms of the tape in VTR1, the information is forcibly recorded
as the normal mode.

1: The information is recorded on the tape forcibly as the wide

mode.

2: The information is recorded on the tape forcibly as the normal

mode.

The wide-screen information on the SDI signal cannot be
detected.

For setting 7.5% setup processing to be performed on input and
output signals in the 50 Mbps mode.
(The 00, 01, 02 and 03 settings on the submenu can be displayed
by pressing the STILL button. To return to this menu from the
submenu, press the STILL button again.)
<Note>
In the 625i mode, this setup menu item does not appear.
